31 Weeks!

Apparently our little babe is around the size of 4 naval oranges, is 16 inches long, and weighs around 3.3lbs. Each week that passes increases her survival rate, so hopefully she'll stay in the oven until week 37 where she's considered full-term.



Smurfs are around 3 apples high, so I imagine that we've got a little Smurfette in the womb.

Maternity Ward Tour

Julie and I took our tour of the Anaheim Kaiser Facility where our little girl will be born in 2 months. We got a tour of the delivery room and our postpartum room. It's activities like these that really start to sink in that we're going to be parents soon.

Baby Guy bedding

We ordered custom bedding from The Baby Guy at the Orange County Swap Meet. It took 3 weeks and was totally worth it! Here's what it looks like if our baby girl slept on the dining room table. And one pic if Mini Me climbed into her crib.

Grandma and Grandpa Phipps delivery!

A big thanks to Rick and Kathy for sending down Winnie the Pooh apparel for their granddaughter. I think the pants pair nicely with her first pair of Vans.

Grandma Albers has been blessing us with several batches of cookies these last two weeks. I now know the definition of sympathy weight gain.

How sweet is my new (used) bike?! Uncle Corey and I will have some sweet times towing around our kids on the trails (pending approval of the moms)!

• Julie and I met Corey, Sandra, and their unborn at the L.A. Beer Festival at the Sony Pictures Lot in Culver City.
• We saw Oscar from The Office and ate at Rush St. in Culver City
• Julie and I went down to the Orange County Swap Meet to order our baby girl’s custom bedding (pink and brown) from The Baby Guy (pics due in 2-3 weeks).
• We stopped in Irvine to fill the craving of Greek food on the way home from the Swap Meet.
